BREASTFEEDING
RESOURCES FROM Birthing, Bonding & Breastfeeding is a hub for birth professionals, advocates and families.
Speaker: Christy Jo Hendricks, IBCLC, is an international speaker, teacher and author. She has made a career of teaching professionals and parents in ways that simplify learning and keep audiences engaged.
Christy Jo created an IBCLC prep course that has earned the distinction of having the highest percentage of students pass the IBLCE Exam (compared to other prep courses). Her 105 hour prep course has been successful in training hundreds of students to become Lactation Consultants. She resides with her family in California where she continues to serve her community as an IBCLC, CLE, CCCE and doula. Christy Jo continues to work part time for a public health organization and serves as faculty for the CAPPA CLE© and Childbirth Educator Programs.
Christy Jo has been awarded the Presidential Volunteer Award, Who's Who Among Teacher's Award, the Phyllis Klaus Award for Positive Impact on Parent/Infant Bond from DONA International, the Above and Beyond Award for Innovative Practices by the Department of Public Health, and Lactation Educator Faculty of the Year by Childbirth and Postpartum Professional Association.
MAMA MEALS: We are focused on bringing organic, gluten-free and pasture-raised ingredient foods, specifically designed for what a postpartum body needs.
Growing a human is hard and takes a heavy toll on the body. With all the pressure, lack of sleep, and learning that comes with a new baby, most moms feel overwhelmed and forget they need to nourish themselves, heal, and replenish lost nutrients!
At Mama Meals we know it takes a village, that's why we source the highest quality ingredients, cook them using ancestral principles from Chinese medicine, Ayurveda, and Weston A. Price, then deliver them frozen to your door. Simply heat, serve and enjoy.
I would love for the world to know that we are a family centered business, and get so excited with each order and the chance to make a positive impact on someone’s life through high quality nutrition.

* Effacement means that the cervix stretches and gets thinner. Dilatation means that the cervix opens. As labor nears, the cervix may start to thin or stretch (efface) and open (dilate).
Your pregnancy due date is calculated by adding 40 weeks (i.e., 280 days) to the first day of your last menstrual period (LMP). This is done with an assumption that you have a 28-day menstrual cycle. The time between your menstrual period and ovulation is calculated as the first two weeks of pregnancy, as ovulation takes place two weeks after the first day of LMP. If you deliver the baby on the estimated due date, she is 38 weeks old after conception and not 40 (1).

Healthy Expectations Perinatal Intensive Outpatient Program - Intensive Outpatient Programs (IOP) provide care for individuals who would benefit from more than what is typically provided in an outpatient level of care. They are designed to help individuals start the path to recovery quickly and to lay the foundation for long-term success in their treatment. The Healthy Expectations IOP is specifically designed to help individuals experiencing mood or anxiety challenges during pregnancy or the first year postpartum.
