"A Necessary Resource"
This is an amazing podcast that is an excellent resource for moms and parents. Cynthia, thank you for all that you do and for making these conversations accessible. I especially enjoyed the episode with Dr. Hack, and hearing her share her personal experience and professional expertise. Keep it up!

"Connecting and empowering new moms"
As a first time mom, I was anxious about the changes-emotional, physical, and beyond- that were about to unfold. I was hoping to find a group of other women entering this new chapter of life to share and learn from and gain reassurance and support knowing that I am not alone on this journey. I am so glad to say that I found this support group, and so much more, through Mamistad. Mamistad provides a much needed community and resources for new moms navigating the transition into motherhood (matrescence). Cynthia Tinajero, the founder, is a thoughtful, deeply passionate, and engaging person who brings new moms together and empowers them with knowledge and resources about pregnancy and parenting from female experts and business owners specializing in women's physical, mental, and social well being across the country. If there is anything I've taken away from the enriching and emotionally powerful conversations that Cynthia shares on the podcast, it is that emotional wellbeing and self-knowledge is central to riding the waves of this journey, and getting the support we need, from our friends, family, therapists, and obgyns is so critical. I highly recommend the new mom's group and the Mom's Chat podcast to any expecting or new moms!

"Every mom needs this!!"
I didn’t find this podcast or community until my baby turned 10 months old and I found myself extremely isolated - this podcast and community are life changing for moms to feel understood and less alone on the life changing journey. Cynthia is so passionate about this work and it shows!

The host brings a calming presence and a wealth of knowledge, offering not only evidence-based information but also genuine empathy that makes you feel seen and supported. Each episode covers a wide range of topics—from birth and postpartum recovery to mental health, breastfeeding, sleep, and more. What sets this podcast apart is its balance of expert interviews with real mom stories, which helps normalize the ups and downs of motherhood. Whether you’re in your first trimester of pregnancy or rocking a newborn at 2 a.m., this podcast feels like having a trusted friend in your ear. It’s honest, non-judgmental, and full of practical tips. I highly recommend it to any mom looking for encouragement, education, and a sense of community during this transformative time.

"Very inspiring podcast"
Cynthia has a very positive aura with her guests. In one of her recent podcasts featuring Dr. Stephanie Waggel, we learned about the importance of breaking stigmas of mother’s facing depression. It was easy to tell Dr. Waggel’s passion on helping these mother’s face anxiety, ADHD, PTSD, etc. Towards the end of the podcast, Dr. Waggel talks about her own battle with cancer and how she had to persevere to figure out her diagnosis. This was very inspiring on how she continued to fight and how she persuaded the audience to be persistence in instances with our own health battles. Both Cynthia and Dr. Waggel allowed me to get a better understanding of the mental health struggles women face after giving birth.

"Great information & entertainment"
Cynthia has great chemistry with all of her guests. My favorite episode thus far has been Dr. Waggel’s feature. Moms need medication too, so it’s important to shed light on everything that Dr. Waggel does as a physician certified in perinatal psychopharmacology. Additionally, I liked the open dialogue amount PMADs. Too many women feel alone, so these discussions are so incredibly important. Dr. Waggel also has a very inspiring story.
