A Happy Birthday Drop In Party for Mamistad! :)

Happy 17th Birthday to Mamistad! 

As a tribute to my own precious Mami, Mamistad was born on her birthday, November 9, in 2005. We are now 17 years old!  Join us for some family time on Sunday, November 6 at Meadowlark Botanical Gardens. Not a Mamistad member? Please stop by and introduce yourself - we'd love to meet you!

For our NOVA/DC Mamis & FAMILIES, we welcome you to "pop by" (or stay the entire time) between 11AM and 2PM and join us for a treat and a beautiful walk around the fabulous Meadowlark Botannical Gardens! Meadowlark is a Mamistad Favorite - we've done many photo events there in the past. For those who haven't been, it is absolutely beautiful, and listed as one of the Best places to see Fall Foliage in Northern VA during the peak season (late Oct-early Nov).

PARK FEES:

- 5 & under: FREE

- ages 6-17 & ages 55+: $3

- ages 18-54: $6

*Those doing photo shoots pay only photographer fee.

*Water bottles are allowed in the park but food is allowed only in the picnic areas and visitor center (snacks available here) Not pets allowed.  See their website for visitor info here. 

To our Austin and Denver Mamas, you are always welcome to join us - though it would require a plane ticket - so we'll understand if you can't attend. :( Still, we love you and celebrate you too!!

Please consider making this a family event with your Mamistad Group!  This is a great opportunity to meet OUTSIDE and even takes some amazing photos with your own cameras. Our group is only allowed one photographer, but individual guests are welcome to take their own photos! We will also be taking shots of Mamistad members for the website. 

*We will let you know when shots are being taken of the group so that you may opt out if you choose to.
