​Ursula Sabia Sukinik is not only a certified childbirth educator but is also a full-spectrum doula, a birth assistant, and a doula trainer. She has been married to David for 31 years, has 2 grown sons, a daughter-in-law, and is a grandmother. Known for her easy laughter, radiant energy, and knowledge of the birthing woman; to say that she is an inspiration is an understatement.
Through her years of work, Ursula has developed an intuitive approach to working with her peers, other professionals, and her clients. She is a true believer in honoring your bodies and the natural process and yet she respects the medical need for intervention when appropriate. Ursula not only inspires her clients to better understand how their choices affect well-being, but she takes the mind-body connection to a whole new level with her practice as a birth worker.
In her 25 years of practice, she has worked with over 5,000 families and attended over 1,500 births. It is with this passion; that she runs Birth You Desire. Birth You Desire is a collaborative practice (Phoenix & DC Metro areas) that embodies over 300 years of birth work and has serviced thousands of families.

Our eight-chapter program is an interactive, web-based class that uses videos, personal birth stories, animations, activities, and games to teach all the essential information parents need to know to prepare for their birth.
*There is a one-hour video conference included with the individual class. The Mamistad Group Class option includes two 1-hour video conference Q&As.
Our Understanding Birth eClass class is the perfect alternative for busy parents needing a flexible class schedule or for moms on bed rest. Have you given birth before? This online class is a great refresher course! You will learn the same essential information as in a group class on your timeline.
