Moms who request to join a group understand that they're agreeing to make an effort to support their group, and that the group's ultimate success depends on member willingness to connect and take advantage of the resources offered to facilitate those connections. Members are encouraged to reach out to Cynthia at any time with their concerns. When possible, second group options may be offered to members in unique situations.

 

New Motherhood is hard and the goal of your group is to connect you with others adjusting to the newness of it at the same time. Though your experiences won't be exactly the same, most moms find that the fundamental shifts that occur during this period are inherently similar.  As we dicuss on New Member Zoom Calls, leaving "mommy judgement" at the door - as much as possible, which gets easier as you become more familiar with each other - is a major step toward connecting with your fellow moms. Your similarities lead to profound  "I thought I was the only one" and "me too" moments that can be incredibly comforting on the new mom rollercoaster.  Accepting and  staying curious about different mothering pactices on the other hand, opens the door to countless lessons you 

might not have otherwise ever imagined.
