Was it a T I A?

As Jasmine and I arrived at the nursing home today I sensed something "different" about my mom the moment I spotted her from behind sitting in the dining room. Without going into the details I'm pretty sure she had a mini-stroke. I wasn't sure at first but as I attempted to take her through a little walk down the hall I became more convinced. I stopped to ask a doctor what symptoms she could show if she had experienced one and he kindly replied: "Ma'am your mother is not my patient and I can't answer questions for people who are not my patients." Wow, this really confirms that my mom is in a warm and caring place. I'm sure I'm being overly sensitive again but suffice to say he's lucky Jasmine was standing next to me or he would have definitely caught hell from me. I was more affected by the fact that Jasmine had to be there in the first place. I pray that my mom has a good night's sleep and that my instincts were incorrect and there was no TIA. Hopefully she was just really really tired. I was happy that I was at least able to get one of her cute little smiles before I left. Oh Mom, what is this like for you?????
