Interesting how your dreams evolve...

Jaz and I took Mom to visit the Mother of all nursing homes today - Goodwin House. Its around the corner from our house to top it off! I know its impossible to get in there - they have a limited number of Medicaid beds and they go to the in-house residents first. In-house residents have already bought-in to the place (and its NOT cheap!) When Jaz and I drive by the place I always say "Maybe one day Grandma can live there Sweetheart!" Now comments too. The other day she said "God please let Grandma live at Goodwin House." Our tour guide was in a hurry - I'm sure she felt it was sort of a useless tour - she's the same woman that tells me "we have no beds available at all" when I make my weekly (if not daily) call to their admissions office. Just to be clear, I still have other dreams too - like having the healthiest and happiest family ever, Mamistad being able to help 1000's of women, and living on a vineyard to name a few. :)
